A key feature of all successful people is that they focus their energies on what they do best, and concentrate on doing as much of that as they can; constantly harnessing, developing and improving their talents.
So, if you want to be more successful, have more fun, earn more money, enjoy life more, the first question you must ask yourself is, am I making the most of my natural, innate talents?
You'll most likely have one of the following answers to that question.
- Yes.
- No.
- I don't know.
- I don't have any talents.
Starting with the last, first. Most people say that, but the real truth is... you do have talents (though you're probably not aware of them; few people are), everyone does.
Talents are developing from even before you are born, until about the age of fourteen, at which time they are pretty much fixed and capable of measurement. They are the key to your success and fulfilment.
Some people just say they don't know what talents they have. Well, if you don't know what talents you have, you can hardly use them effectively can you? You're not alone of course, very few people know what their talents are. It's a key reason so few people are really successful!
If you really do know what talents you have, objectively and with certainty and said no; why on earth do you choose to handicap yourself in this way?
If you answered yes, you must already be enjoying all the benefits that entails, so why are you reading this?
What you must get absolutely clear in your mind is that what gives successful people their edge, no matter what they do is...
they love doing what they do.
And
they love doing what they do because they are good at what they do, very good. In fact, it's what they do best, so they do it day
after day after day.
